El Coco (the boogeyman)

Using the concept of  "El Coco" (boogeyman) as a starting point this multimedia installation explores different ways to immerse the audience in a specific atmosphere.

 

The experience starts when the spectator is taken blindfolded into a dark room. Once left in the room alone, is able to take off the blindfold. The only they see is a cloth hanging from the ceiling with an empty frame on it. Behind it, the unknown space of the room.  As the experience continues spectators will immerse in a dark reality where the figure of the boogeyman starts to become real. Maybe too real.
