Paper Airplanes

Paper airplanes floating, frozen in space. Investigation for a site-specific project in a former old school building. The paper airplanes become a shared memory of the building with the spectators. Almost like if the visitors could  visualise through a collective memory the paper airplanes used to fly when the old students once occupied that same space . This installation was  complemented with a soundscape that recreated distant sounds from a school, making the experience more immersive and enhancing the feeling  of a shared memory.
